If you follow the Premier League from America, you already know the deal: the matches are scheduled for an English afternoon, which means an American morning. On the West Coast, the first Saturday game can kick off before the sun comes up.

Heads up on daylight saving: the UK and US change their clocks on different dates. For a couple of weeks in March (US clocks have moved forward, UK's haven't yet) and about a week in late October/early November (UK clocks have moved back, US clocks haven't yet), every kickoff lands one hour later in the US than shown above. Arizona doesn't observe daylight saving, so its times also shift during the year. Sports Alarm uses your phone's local time, so you don't have to do the math.

What time do Premier League games kick off in the US?
The usual Saturday slots are 12:30, 15:00 and 17:30 UK time. For most of the season that's 7:30am, 10:00am and 12:30pm Eastern, or 4:30am, 7:00am and 9:30am Pacific. For a week or two each spring and fall, when the UK and US change clocks on different dates, US times run one hour later.
Will the alarm go off if my phone is locked or the app is closed?
